  • Patent number: 9987518
Abstract: A balancing board is disclosed with a base and an elongated deck including a top surface; longitudinal and central lateral axes; and a bottom surface, which includes at the central lateral axis a center post mounting mechanism. The base's bottom side rests on a support surface. The base's top side has a top surface and is rotatable with respect to the bottom side at a rotational bearing. A center post is fixed at its bottom end to and extends upwards from the base's top surface, and has at its top end a pair of roller posts extending laterally and horizontally from the center post at opposing sides. Each roller post rotationally mounts a roller, extended downwardly from the roller post, below the center post's top end. The center post mounting mechanism engages with and aligns each roller with the central lateral axis on opposing sides of the longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 6616583
Abstract: An exercise board for accommodating the foot or feet of a balancing user during exercise movement has an elongated flat platform with opposite, typically upturned ends, similar to a skateboard. The board defines an upper facing side dimensioned to receive the foot or feet of the balancing user and a lower facing side. Resilient rocker-mounting ends are mounted to the lower facing side at either end of the elongated flat platform. Each resilient rocker-mounting end includes a rigid floor contacting rocker section and an elastic column. The floor contacting rocker section has a rounded floor-contacting surface. The elastic column is mounted to the elongated flat platform at the upper end, mounted to the floor contacting rocker at the lower end, and bendable both longitudinally and in torque responsive to shifting weight of a balancing user on the upper facing side of the elongate platform.

  • Patent number: 5810703
Abstract: A wobble board is provided with the capability of varying the height between its sphere section and board. The wobble board includes a board with centrally protruding and downward extending bolt. A sphere section having legs, preferably four in number threads to the bolt. In between the sphere section and board underside, a variable height spacer is utilized. Preferably, the variable height spacer is provided with at least two sets of leg receiving notches. These sets of leg receiving notches are each at differing heights relative to the board. At the same time, the position of the notches within each set is complimentary in position to the legs. In operation, height between the sphere section and board is changed by unthreading the sphere section relative to the board without release of the variable height spacer between the sphere section and board. Unthreading continues until leg access to one set of the variable height notches occurs.
