  • Patent number: 10918811
Abstract: The disclosure relates to an audible indicator in combination with a drug delivery device having a resilient force member capable of resting in either of two states. In a biased state, the resilient force member is biased and stores energy and in a relaxed state, the resilient force member is relaxed. The resilient force member releases the stored energy when changing from the biased state into the relaxed state, thereby generating an audible signal, wherein the resilient force member is supported by a retaining element in the biased state in order to prevent transition into the relaxed state.

  • Publication number: 20180185589
Abstract: The disclosure refers to a cap assembly for covering a needle shield of an injection device, the cap assembly comprising: a collar, and a cap with a sheath and a bottom, wherein the collar is movable along a longitudinal direction relative to the sheath from an unlocked position not engaging the sheath towards a locked position, force-lockingly engaging the sheath, thereby locking the sheath to the needle shield.

  • Publication number: 20180161504
Abstract: The invention relates to a syringe support (15, 15?) for supporting an axial position of a syringe (3) relative to a housing (2) of an autoinjector (1), wherein the syringe support (15, 15?) comprises:—a projecting portion (15.3) which projects from the syringe support (15, 15?) in a distal direction (D) and—a flexible portion (15.1) which axially adjoins the projecting portion (15.3) and which is adapted to axially bias the syringe (3) in the distal direction (D) within the housing (2). The invention further relates to an autoinjector (1).

  • Publication number: 20180154078
Abstract: The disclosure relates to an audible indicator for use with a drug delivery device comprising a bistable resilient force member capable of residing in two states. In a biased state, the resilient force member is biased and stores energy In a relaxed state, the resilient force member is relaxed. The resilient force member releases the stored energy when transitioning from the biased state into the relaxed state, thereby generating an audible signal.

  • Publication number: 20180140781
Abstract: A syringe carrier includes a housing adapted to receive a syringe having a needle encapsulated by a removable protective needle sheath, and two or more flexible arms protruding inwards in a relaxed state and adapted to couple with the syringe in a mounted position. The flexible arms are adapted to deflect radially outwards in a pre-assembled position of the syringe in the syringe carrier. In the mounted position the flexible arms are allowed to return into the relaxed state due, in part, to an axial force operating on the syringe carrier. The disclosure further relates to an autoinjector and a method of assembling the autoinjector.
