  • Publication number: 20240122367
Abstract: A pop up cover for a crib is provided for providing a safe, comfortable and isolated environment for a child in a crib. The pop-up cover may be made of breathable fabric panels having an integrated frame, for example a flexible frame, which can be folded (collapsed) on itself, for example when folded in specific ways if appropriate force is applied and which keeps the fabric in a taught, open position when unfolded (preventing the panels form falling inwards onto each other). The pop up cover can be lightweight and compact, quick and easy to set up, dark inside and breathable.

  • Publication number: 20230049537
Abstract: As an example, a server may receive, from a computing device, a submission created by an author. The submission includes book data associated with a book and author data associated with the author. The author data includes incarceration data indicating whether the author was incarcerated. The server may determine, based on the author data and the book data, that the submission is publishable. The server may create, based on the book data, a printable book, an e-book, and an audio book and make one or more of the printable book, the e-book, and the audio book available for acquisition.

  • Publication number: 20220022629
Abstract: An apparatus and method for temporary non-surgical correction of submental fullness. The apparatus includes a pair of adhesive tabs disposed at opposite ends of a flexible band. A release paper protects an adhesive layer of the adhesive tabs until ready for use. The release paper may include indicia disposed in a spaced apart relation for trimming the apparatus to a desired size. The adhesive tabs are applied to the skin at the lateral aspects of the neck such that the flexible band applies a tension to the user's skin to draw the excess skin rearwardly towards the nape of the wearer's neck, providing a desired corrected appearance.

  • Patent number: 11137516
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method, apparatus, and software for passive, non-destructive assay of holdup deposits in nuclear piping by in-pipe apparatus. A detector deployed within a pipe is collimated to observe radiation impinging radially inward from decay of deposits that lie on the pipe wall. A radiation detector is centered in the pipe and collimated by a pair of coaxial shielding discs disposed equidistant from the detector. This arrangement causes radiation from a truncated cylinder of pipe deposit within a field of regard to impinge on the detector, while precluding radiation emanating from pipe walls beyond the field of regard from reaching the detector. Hence, observations are unique to a known cylindrical length of pipe. The detector assembly is translated through pipes by an autonomous mobile robotic apparatus. Computer software controls the robotic apparatus, logs data, and post-processes to assay deposits.
