The entertainment information may include a set of questions such as trivia-related questions or polling questions. The user response information may indicate a set of corresponding responses provided by the user in response to the set of questions. The entertainment information may be identified based on available historical preference data associated with the user, demographic data associated with the user or may be randomly selected to gauge user interest. User psychographic data associated with the user may be generated based at least in part on the user response information. At least one offering for targeting to the user such as a product or service offering or a targeted advertisement may be identified based on the user psychographic data and may be transmitted for presentation to the user.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for network-based storage of requested content are provided. A request for a content item may be received by a content storage device from a customer. Portions of the content item may be extracted from the content item. The content storage device may store the extracted portions of the content item specific to the customer. Additionally, the remainder of the content item may be stored by the content storage device separately from the stored extracted portion. The content item may be reconstructed for the customer using the extracted portions of the content item specific to the customer and the remainder of the content item.

Abstract: Certain embodiments of the invention may include systems and methods for combining user profiles. According to an example embodiment, a method is provided for refining group content choices. The method includes identifying that at least two users are accessing media content on a same device, wherein each of the at least two users is associated with a different set of profile attributes; generating a spliced user profile having spliced profile attributes based at least in part on at least a portion of the set of profile attributes associated with at least one of the at least two users; determining at least one content recommendation based on the spliced profile attributes; and delivering the at least one content recommendation over a content distribution channel to the at least two users on the media device.

The processor (605) includes an output port for selectively transmitting the information for recording, an input port for receiving user commands, and a presentation port for transmitting the information for presentation to a user. The presentation device (600) also includes a data port (635) for providing the embedded data to an external printer upon command and a command port for receiving commands from a remote control unit (500). The remote control unit (500) includes a transmitter (540) for providing the commands to the presentation device (600) and input means for receiving control signals from the user, wherein, upon reception of a print control signal from the user, the remote control unit (500) transmits a print command to the presentation device (600). The presentation device (600) then provides the embedded data to the data port (635) for printing.
