  • Patent number: 9453858
Abstract: In some embodiments a method includes receiving, from a sensor device, a signal indicative of a voltage associated with a current passing over a line that is disposed through the sensor device. The method includes receiving, from the sensor device, a signal indicative of (1) a calibrated sensitivity of the sensor device, (2) a calibrated temperature of the sensor device, and (3) an ambient temperature that was received from an ambient temperature sensor. The method includes defining an actual sensitivity of the sensor device based on (1) the calibrated sensitivity of the sensor device, (2) the calibrated temperature of the sensor device, and (3) the ambient temperature. The method includes sending a signal indicative of a modified electric current value based on (1) the voltage and (2) the actual sensitivity of the sensor device.
