  • Patent number: 9891093
Abstract: A method for determining the position of a liquid interface between a lower tray and an upper tray in a process apparatus such as a distillation column, using gamma scanning and comparing the maximum count rate of gamma photons measured between two trays with the count rate attributed to scanning through the apparatus filled with vapor. The method enables the operating parameters of the apparatus to be optimized and provides a manner of calculating the % flood of an individual tray.

  • Publication number: 20160358277
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments describe a system and method for identifying, evaluating and routing members of a healthcare benefits system to clinical interventions. The system includes various databases that comprise member claims data and provides the infrastructure to support the integration and exchange of data among representatives of a health benefits plan. It allows for more efficient use of information via the creation and evaluation of a clinical profile that is then used to identify the clinical interventions that may be appropriate for a member. The clinical data is matched to referral thresholds and other eligibility criteria for various clinical and disease management programs to identify appropriate interventions. Member progress in the interventions is tracked to determine whether additional interventions or actions may be needed to further engage the member in health-related activities. Members that do not respond to alerts for interventions may receive further alerts.

  • Patent number: 7735181
Abstract: An improved duster for venetian blinds and plantation shutters is disclosed including a handle and cross member with a number of rigid repositionable pins about which a dusting finger freely rotates when drawn lengthwise between the slats of blinds. The process of rotating prevents the bunching of dust unevenly on the dusting finger and provides for a greater removal of dust from the blinds, the dust being evenly distributed about the dusting finger. The dusting fingers may be treated with an anti-static compound to ease intermittent clearing of the dusting finger of dust.

  • Patent number: 6997666
Abstract: An automated cart unloading/conveyor system for automated unloading of articles from a transport vehicle or cart to one or more transfer surfaces, conveyors, or other platforms. A specially configured cart carries articles to be transferred upon shelves. The cart is engaged by a cart drive mechanism which propels the cart along a path which interfaces with one or more diverter arms configured to interface with the cart to transfer articles from the cart onto one or more conveyors. In one embodiment, the cart may have multiple shelves which interface with multiple conveyors along the cart drive path, and further each shelf of the cart may be divided with a diverter arm positioned to interface with each divided portion of each shelf of the cart.

  • Publication number: 20040261600
Abstract: A C-clamp capo comprises a string press for clamping down on the strings of a string-instrument against a front side of a fretboard. An extension arm curves behind and has an idler clamp with a first pivot attachment. Such enables a clamping action against a backside of the fretboard. A continuous insert having a positioning bumper that ensures consistent positioning against the fretboard is disposed all along an inside surface of the string press from a distal end across the first pivot attachment bridging over to an inside surface of the idler clamp and out to its distal end. A locking lever has a second pivot attachment to the extension arm behind the first pivot attachment, and provides a locking action against a backside of the idler clamp. A setscrew disposed in the locking lever provides an adjustable locking action between the idler clamp and the locking lever, e.g., for a range of thicknesses of the fretboard to be accommodated.

  • Patent number: 5763970
Abstract: Sensor (41) is held between its arms (63) and nubs 60 in cover (31). A circuit board (57) on which the sensor is mounted remains outside of the cover, and panels (55) of the sensor (41) extend upward to prevent the circuit board (57) from collapsing leads (45, 53) which connect the sensor to the circuit board. Reliable operation is obtained without narrow tolerances.
