  • Patent number: 8960292
Abstract: A method of servicing a wellbore comprising inserting a first tubing member into the wellbore, wherein a manipulatable fracturing tool is coupled to the first tubing member and comprises one or more ports configured to alter a flow of fluid through the manipulatable fracturing tool, positioning the manipulatable fracturing tool proximate to a formation zone, manipulating the manipulatable fracturing tool to establish fluid communication between the flowbore of the first tubing member and the wellbore, introducing a first component of a composite fluid into the wellbore via the flowbore of the first tubing member, introducing a second component of the composite fluid into the wellbore via an annular space formed by the first tubing member and the wellbore, mixing the first component with the second component within the wellbore, and causing a fracture to form or be extended within the formation zone.

  • Patent number: 7775285
Abstract: A wellbore servicing apparatus, comprising a housing comprising a plurality of housing ports, a sleeve being movable with respect to the housing, the sleeve comprising a plurality of sleeve ports to selectively provide a fluid flow path between the plurality of housing ports and the plurality of sleeve ports, and a sacrificial nozzle in fluid communication with at least one of the plurality of the housing ports and the plurality of sleeve ports. A method of servicing a wellbore, comprising placing a stimulation assembly in the wellbore, the stimulation assembly comprising a housing comprising a plurality of housing ports, a selectively adjustable sleeve comprising a plurality of sleeve ports, and a sacrificial nozzle in fluid communication with one of the plurality of the housing ports and the plurality of sleeve ports, the sacrificial nozzle comprising an aperture, a fluid interface, and a housing interface.

  • Publication number: 20100200230
Abstract: Methods of treating a well bore in a single trip are provided. A tubing string may be inserted into a subterranean formation having a well bore, where the tubing string has a locking device on an end. A workover tool may be positioned in a first zone of the subterranean formation, where the workover tool engages the locking device. One or more perforations may be created or enhanced in a first zone of a subterranean formation using the workover tool, and the tubing string may be positioned in a second zone of the subterranean formation. A fracturing fluid may be introduced into the first zone of the subterranean formation at a rate and pressure sufficient to create or enhance one or more fractures in the subterranean formation. The first zone of the subterranean formation may be isolated from the second zone of the subterranean formation and one or more perforations in the second zone of the subterranean formation may be created or enhanced using the workover tool.

  • Patent number: 7575062
Abstract: Methods and devices are provided for treating multiple interval well bores. More particularly, an isolation assembly may be used to allow for zonal isolation to allow treatment of selected productive or previously producing intervals in multiple interval well bores. One example of a method for treating a multiple interval well bore includes the steps of: introducing an isolation assembly to a well bore, the isolation assembly comprising a liner, one or more sleeves and a plurality of swellable packers, wherein the sleeves and swellable packers are disposed about the liner; deploying a shifting tool inside the liner, where the sleeves are configured so as to provide open, closed and open to screen positions when actuated by the shifting tool. An open position allows for treatment of the well bore while an open to screen position allows for receiving fluid from the well bore. A closed position re-establishes zonal isolation.
