Abstract: Method, system and infrastructures for managing certificates for platform providers are described. A platform provider provides a platform to host a plurality of virtual sites designated individually with custom specified hostnames. According to one aspect of the present invention, traffic originating from a web browser to a designated website with a hostname is directed to a server (herein “control server”) designed for serving a corresponding certificate to establish a secure session between the browser and the designated website being hosted on a server (herein “platform server”) operated by a platform provider. In operation, the corresponding certificate may be retrieved from a cache in or accessible by the control server, or the control server is caused to generate a certificate based on the access request from the browser after a verification process.

Abstract: A device for film thickness measurement and a method for film thickness measurement are disclosed. The device includes a planar indenter, a collecting unit and a processing unit. The planar indenter includes a base plate and a piezoelectric film layer. The collecting unit includes a plurality of collecting circuits evenly distributed above the piezoelectric film layer and spaced from each other. The collecting circuits are used for collecting current signals generated when the piezoelectric film layer deforms at positions corresponding to the collecting circuits. The processing unit is used for calculating a film thickness of the film sample to be measured based on the current signals collected by each of the collecting circuits.

Abstract: A wash buffer comprising greater than 0 mM and less than about 500 mM arginine, greater than 0 mM and less than about 250 mM guanidine, greater than 0 mM and less than about 250 mM sodium chloride, and greater than 0 mM and less than about 50 mM of an anionic surfactant, or greater than 0% and less than about 0.25% w/v of a non-ionic surfactant. When used during affinity chromatography purification of a protein of interest, such as an antibody, the wash buffer significantly reduces the level of host cell proteins from the preparation. Following affinity chromatography with the wash buffer, the protein of interest may be further purified using membrane chromatography.

The method includes: obtaining a first interest label corresponding to a contact waiting for match and a second interest label corresponding to respective contact other than the contact waiting for match in a matching interface displayed on the client device; comparing the first interest label and the second interest label to obtain at least one contact matching with the contact waiting for match; and displaying a first contact identifier corresponding to the contact waiting for match and a second contact identifier corresponding to respective matching contact or a second contact identifier corresponding to respective matching contact in the matching interface according to a predefined first displaying manner. Examples of the present disclosure also provide a contact matching apparatus. The solution of the present disclosure improves contact matching efficiency and accuracy.

Abstract: A system and method for delegating permissions to a third party are presented. A request to access a first computing resource of a computer server is received from a first user. The first user is prompted to supply a first authentication credential for access to the first computing resource of the computer server and the first authentication credential is received from the first user. After the first authentication credential is received, a request to access a second computing resource of the computer server is received from the first user. An authentication database is accessed to identify a second user associated with the second computing resource, and a request for a second authentication credential is transmitted to a second user. The second authentication credential is received from the second user. When the second authentication credential is received from the second user, the first user is given access to the second computing resource.

According to one embodiment, a CustomerOps platform is designed to provide customer operations to a plurality of computer applications (e.g. websites with multiple webpages, desktop programs and mobile applications) operated by respective businesses large or small. By providing a server or a cluster of servers, various activities by a user interacting with a designated computer application are captured and the data stream thereof is transported to a designated server. The stored data can be retrieved to assist the business of the designated computer application to engage the user contextually whenever there is a need. Such a CustomerOps platform facilitates efficient and more relevant human or automated assistance when the user desires to get engaged with the business that provides the designated computer application.

The method comprises: receiving an emergency call request initiated from a terminal device over an untrusted non-3GPP based access network; detecting an event of the emergency call depending upon the emergency network access identifier included in the request message; selecting for the terminal device an emergency access point name that identifies an external network providing an emergency call service; and establishing for the terminal device an emergency call session with a second gateway node interfacing with the external network which is identified by the selected emergency access point name. Abstract: In an example, a method is described that includes dividing an input image into a plurality of strips, where each strip is smaller than a whole of the input image. A plurality of binary images is then generated, where each of the binary images corresponds to one of the strips. Connected component labeling is performed on the binary images, one binary image at a time. An object map for the input image is then generated based on the results of the connected component labeling.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide methods and systems for the biphasic iontophoretic transdermal delivery of therapeutic agents. An embodiment of a method for such delivery comprises positioning at least one electrode assembly in electrical communication with a patient's skin. The assembly includes a solution comprising a therapeutic agent which passively diffuses into the skin. A dose of agent is delivered from the assembly into the skin during a first period using a first current having a characteristic e.g., polarity and magnitude, to repel the agent out of the assembly. During a second period, a second current having a characteristic to attract the agent is used to retain the agent in the assembly such that delivery of agent into skin is minimized. A dose of agent may be delivered on demand by an input from the patient. Embodiments may be used for delivery of agents which cause adverse effects from unwanted passive diffusion.
