  • Patent number: 7918564
Abstract: A cooling system for a projector is provided and disposed in the projector. When a sensing temperature of the projector sensed by a thermal sensor of the cooling system is higher than a maximum temperature, a control module controls a fan to increase a rotation speed. When the sensing temperature of the projector sensed by the thermal sensor is lower than a minimum temperature, the control module controls the fan to decrease the rotation speed. As a result, the temperature of the projector is maintained within a proper range.

  • Patent number: 7217011
Abstract: An air flow channel is used to direct cooling air towards a lamp reflector. The air flow channel has an outer housing and a guider. The outer housing is positioned at the outlet of blower, which is designed to dissipate heat from the lamp reflector. The guider, which is mounted at the side of the outer housing, has an upper slanted surface, a lower slanted surface and a side slanted surface. The air flow is divided into three individual air flows towards the lamp reflector by means of the three slanted surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20060274282
Abstract: The present invention provides a projector comprising a vent device disposed in an opening of the case through which heat flow generated from the light device is transmitted out of the projector. The vent structure comprises a first vent structure and a second vent structure. The first vent structure and the second vent comprise a plurality first vanes and a plurality of second vanes respectively. The first vanes are extending horizontally and are spaced out a predetermined distance apart respectively. The second vanes are extending obliquely and are spaced out predetermined distance apart respectively. The first vent structure is disposed close to the exterior of the projector, and the second vent structure is disposed close to the interior of the projector.
