The method includes receiving first signaling, wherein a protocol layer to which the first signaling belongs to a protocol layer under a radio resource control (RRC) layer. As a response to receiving the first signaling, the method includes assessing a radio link quality of the first BWP according to a second RS resource pool. At least one RS resource of the second RS resource pool depends on a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state of a control resource set (CORESET).
