Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a vehicle inspection method, system and a storage medium. The vehicle inspection method for performing radiation inspection on a vehicle passing through an inspection passage by a radiation scanning device includes: recognizing an external optical image of the vehicle that has entered the inspection passage to determine a type of the vehicle and a size of a radiation dose limited area of the vehicle; selecting a scanning strategy of the radiation scanning device for the vehicle according to the type of the vehicle, and switching a working mode of the radiation scanning device according to the size of the radiation dose limited area of the vehicle and a traveling position of the vehicle.
