Abstract: The present invention protects a disposable absorbent article which comprises basically an inner layer, an outer layer comprised by a laminate with two layers, one hydrophobic and one hydrophilic, an absorbent core placed between the inner layer and the outer layer and elastic areas at the waist and crotch parts formed by elastic threads or bands, such that the elastic crotch threads or bands are placed between the layers that form the laminate of the outer layer, such that the inner layer of the article and the inner layer of the laminate are placed between the elastic threads or bands and the skin of the user.
