  • Publication number: 20230380343
Abstract: A brush cutter rotor comprising cutting tooth assemblies sequentially arranged along a longitudinal axis of the brush cutter rotor, and azimuthally offset to make up intertwined spirals of cutting tooth assemblies. The cutting tooth assemblies of immediately adjacent tracks are arranged to provide for a longitudinal gap in-between, and separating blades are provided within said longitudinal gap on each side of each track comprising one of the cutting tooth assemblies. They form a comb to separate incoming material to a center of the corresponding one of the cutting teeth and away from side edges thereof. The front space before the central portion of cutting teeth is thereby free, exempt from a protective guard. A wear plate can be used in the holding base of the cutting tooth assemblies under each cutting tooth.

  • Patent number: 11466424
Abstract: A bracket for mounting an excavation bucket on a coupler of an articulated arm. The bracket comprises a body extending in a plane and having a central portion. A first concavity on a first side of the body substantially has an arc-of-circle shape to conform with a surface of a cylinder and hinge therearound. The bracket comprises a second concavity on a second side of the body opposite the first side with respect to the central portion. A third concavity on the second side of the body substantially has the arc-of-circle shape. The bracket comprises a first abutment edge formed by the central portion of the body; and a second abutment edge aside the first abutment edge and further from the central portion of the body compared to the first abutment edge. This bracket allows reversible mounting of the coupler of the excavation bucket.

  • Publication number: 20210270007
Abstract: There is described a bracket for mounting an excavation bucket on a coupler of an articulated arm. The bracket comprises a body extending in a plane and having a central portion. This bracket allows reversible mounting of the coupler of the excavation bucket by providing two pairs of adjacent concavities at a front and at a rear portion of the body which can alternately hold a corresponding pair of hinge shafts of a coupler in either orientation. Abutments at the front and at the rear are provided to further retain the coupler in the mounting bracket in either configuration. A bottom of the mounting bracket comprises notches that fit with corresponding portions of the bucket for improved securing of the bucket assembly on the mounting bracket.

  • Patent number: 9374946
Abstract: A bale unloading device is provided for unloading bales off from an inline bale wrapping machine. The bale unloading device comprises a telescopic bale unloading member that is found on the unwrapped bale loading end of the bale wrapping machine or on a bale storage trailer attached thereto. When in use, the bale unloading device goes from a retracted state to an extended state, pushing the last bale through a bale wrapping device and towards a wrapped bale support structure located on the wrapped bale unloading end of the bale wrapping machine. The bale unloading member is powered by hydraulic valves/actuators and therefore does not necessitate any manual intervention to unload the last bale from the bale wrapping machine.

  • Publication number: 20160029563
Abstract: An inline bale wrapping device is for wrapping at least one bale. The wrapping device includes a base frame defining a bale wrapping section between a bale receiving section and a bale discharging section. The wrapping device also includes a moving mechanism configured to move the at least one bale longitudinally along a longitudinal moving axis, an end surface wrapping mechanism configured to dispense and maintain a length of end surface film across the longitudinal moving axis and a side surface wrapping mechanism mounted between the end surface wrapping mechanism and the bale discharging section and configured to wrap a length of side surface film around at least a longitudinal portion of the side surface of the bale, over a portion of the length of end surface film. A method of operation of the inline bale wrapping device is for wrapping at least one bale.

  • Publication number: 20120180430
Abstract: A wrapping machine includes a fixed inner hoop having a non-circular shape. The wrapping machine also includes a rotatable outer hoop rotatably connected to the outer surface of the inner hoop and having a shape that matches that of the inner hoop, thereby allowing the outer hoop to maintain a proximal relationship with the outer surface of the inner hoop during rotation. The wrapping machine further includes at least one cantilevered support mounted on the outer hoop, the cantilevered support having at least one spool holder for rotatably mounting a spool of wrapping material thereon, and a driving mechanism operatively connected to the outer hoop for rotating the outer hoop. The non-circular shape of the wrapping machine is advantageous in that it is better adapted to wrap square or rectangular loads.

  • Patent number: 7743595
Abstract: A device for harvesting crops comprising woody material including a processor arranged to mechanically work the woody material and to feed the mechanically worked woody material to a bale-forming mechanism, the bale-forming mechanism being arranged to form a bale of the mechanically worked woody material. The present invention also extends to a method for harvesting crops comprising woody material in a continuous operation including the steps of: (a) mechanically working the woody material using a processor of a harvesting device; (b) feeding the mechanically worked woody material to a bale-forming mechanism of the harvesting device; and (c) forming a bale from the mechanically worked woody material.
