Publication number: 20250101706Abstract: There is described a bracket for mounting an excavation bucket on a coupler of an articulated arm. This bracket allows reversible mounting of the coupler of the excavation bucket by providing a rear concavity at a rear portion of the body and a front concavity at a front portion of the body, both oriented rearwardly, which can alternately hold a corresponding hinge shaft of a coupler in either orientation. Abutments at the center of the body (split into a front and rear abutment edges, intersecting) are provided to further retain the coupler in the mounting bracket in either configuration by a receiving a stopper of the coupler, which is circular and may be excentric with respect to another hinge shaft of the coupler. Gripping and un-gripping can thereby be facilitated.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 9, 2024Publication date: March 27, 2025Inventors: Luc D'AMOURS, Alain RIVARD, Remi BEAUDOIN

Publication number: 20240376684Abstract: There is described a bracket for mounting an excavation bucket on a coupler of an articulated arm. The bracket comprises a body extending in a plane and having a central portion. This bracket allows reversible mounting of the coupler of the excavation bucket by providing two pairs of adjacent concavities at a front and at a rear portion of the body which can alternately hold a corresponding pair of hinge shafts of a coupler in either orientation. Abutments at the front and at the rear are provided to further retain the coupler in the mounting bracket in either configuration. A bottom of the mounting bracket comprises notches that fit with corresponding portions of the bucket for improved securing of the bucket assembly on the mounting bracket.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 23, 2024Publication date: November 14, 2024Inventors: Luc D’AMOURS, Alain RIVARO, Rèmi BEAUDOIN

Patent number: 11897043Abstract: Cutting inserts are disclosed having four cutting edges and milling tools comprising the cutting inserts installed in pockets on a rotatable cutting tool holder. The cutting inserts comprise a front face, a rear face and four side faces extending between the front and rear faces. A cutting edge is provided at the intersection of the front face and each side face. Each cutting edge comprises a plurality of cutting edge segments, including a facet cutting edge that forms the flat surface of a workpiece being milled, and a straight lead cutting edge that extends at an angle away from the facet cutting edge. The lead cutting edge angle is selected to provide effective milling of the workpiece at entry. Publication number: 20230380343Abstract: A brush cutter rotor comprising cutting tooth assemblies sequentially arranged along a longitudinal axis of the brush cutter rotor, and azimuthally offset to make up intertwined spirals of cutting tooth assemblies. The cutting tooth assemblies of immediately adjacent tracks are arranged to provide for a longitudinal gap in-between, and separating blades are provided within said longitudinal gap on each side of each track comprising one of the cutting tooth assemblies. They form a comb to separate incoming material to a center of the corresponding one of the cutting teeth and away from side edges thereof. The front space before the central portion of cutting teeth is thereby free, exempt from a protective guard. A wear plate can be used in the holding base of the cutting tooth assemblies under each cutting tooth.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 4, 2021Publication date: November 30, 2023Applicant: 9422-8053 QUEBEC INC.Inventors: Luc D'AMOURS, Mahmood AKBARI

Patent number: 9374946Abstract: A bale unloading device is provided for unloading bales off from an inline bale wrapping machine. The bale unloading device comprises a telescopic bale unloading member that is found on the unwrapped bale loading end of the bale wrapping machine or on a bale storage trailer attached thereto. When in use, the bale unloading device goes from a retracted state to an extended state, pushing the last bale through a bale wrapping device and towards a wrapped bale support structure located on the wrapped bale unloading end of the bale wrapping machine. The bale unloading member is powered by hydraulic valves/actuators and therefore does not necessitate any manual intervention to unload the last bale from the bale wrapping machine.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2010Date of Patent: June 28, 2016Assignee: Groupe Anderson Inc.Inventors: Luc D'Amours, Frédéric Lavoie, Patrice Desrochers
