  • Publication number: 20230387611
Abstract: A connection housing has a main pair and a secondary pair of electrical contacts on a printed circuit board (22), each pair having a first (241, 242) and a second (251, 252) electrical contact. A first set (261) of conductive tracks electrically couples the first contacts of the main (231) and secondary (232) pairs, and a second set (262) of tracks electrically couples the second contacts of the main and secondary pairs. The contacts of the main pair are two perforation or insulation displacement contacts receiving transversally and directly connecting two insulated conductors of a same main single-pair Ethernet cable (1a) entering and exiting from the housing through two main ways (271, 272) for access to the housing. The contacts of the secondary pair (232) electrically connect two insulated conductors of a same secondary Ethernet cable (1b) linked through a secondary way (273) for access to the housing.
