    Abstract: Torsional damper (34), with an input element (E), an output element (A), an elastic element (16), and a friction device (36). The input element (E) and the output element (A) are rotatable to a limited extent with respect to one another against a restoring force of the elastic element (16). The friction device (36) has a friction disk (24), a holding element (28) and a preloading element (26), wherein the holding element (28) is connected to the friction disk (24) for conjoint rotation therewith. The holding element (28) is connected to the output element (A) for conjoint rotation therewith. The holding element (28) is arranged axially between the friction disk (24) and the preloading element (26). A clutch disk having a torsional damper as described above is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A connector for high frequency signals comprises a housing of insulating material and a plurality of male contact elements. The housing has a bottom and two opposite side walls extending upwardly from the bottom, the bottom and side walls determining a receiving space. Each of the contact elements is mounted in a cavity, an upper end of each contact element projecting into the receiving space. At least a plurality of the cavities are metallized at their the inner walls. The contact elements are mounted in the metallized cavities by means of a support element of insulating material. Each support has a lower extension directed away from the receiving space and each support element is metallized at its outer side.

The inclining guiding surface (8) of the support plate (2, 10) ends at a distance from the end edge (5) of the guiding plate (3, 11) wherein a support member (14, 20) is provided between this end edge and the guiding surface (8), which support member (14, 20) projects above the guiding surface (8). This support member (14, 20) supports the conductors (16) during introduction under such an angle of inclination that the conductors project above the end edge of the guiding plate (3, 11).

    Abstract: For manufacturing a connector for optical conductors on a printed circuit board a first printed circuit board part is made and an alignment piece with one or more reference faces and with one or more alignment channels for the conductors is fixed on the first printed circuit board part. The optical conductors are put in the alignment channels and are attached in the alignment piece, whereafter the parts of the optical conductors projecting out of the alignment piece and superfluous attachment material are removed by polishing and optical contact pads are formed in the upper surface of the alignment piece. A protection cover is put on the alignment piece, which protection cover seals the reference faces and the optical contact pads from the environment, whereafter the printed circuit board is completed and finally the protection cover is removed.

    Abstract: A contact device for a cable comprising one or more inner conductors with inner insulating sheath and a common shield with outer insulating sheath, comprises a connection terminal for the shield and a connection element for each inner conductor. Further a guiding element and a stop element are provided for each inner conductor. The guiding element directs the corresponding inner conductor with its insulating sheath at the corresponding stop element in such a manner that during insertion of the cable into the contact device the inner insulating sheath is axially compressed by the stop element by the stop element. Seen from the corresponding guiding element each connection terminal for an inner conductor lies beyond the corresponding stop element. By application of this contact device it is no longer necessary to remove the inner insulating sheath.
