Abstract: The invention relates to novel compounds, in particular novel O-substituted phospholipids that are useful for the in vitro and in vivo delivery of drugs as well as nucleic acids into cells. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions and supramolecular complexes comprising said compounds and the use of these compounds in therapeutic treatment, in particular in gene therapy.

Abstract: The present invention concerns new methods for producing substrates with surfaces, that are covalently linked to at least one type of hapten or biological macromolecule, with reduced non-specific biological macromolecule adsorption. In another aspect, the invention concerns substrates with surfaces that are covalently linked to at least one type of hapten, showing circulating compounds and the use of these substrates for the quantitative detection of at least one type of hapten-specific biological macromolecule receptor, in particular a hapten-specific antibody, in a test probe. Further, the invention concerns substrates with surfaces that are covalently linked to at least one type of biological macromolecule, in particular one type of antibody, showing reduced non-specific interactions with circulating compounds and the use of these substrates for the quantitative detection of at least one type of hapten in a test probe.

An interface (20) is automatically configured by loading and executing specific protocol conversion programs and adapting the physical link on the basis of recognition of the connecting cable (5, 6, 7, 8, 16 or 17) between the interface and the computer(s) and apparatus(es) to be connected. The connecting cable is recognized by entering a key (k5, k6, k7, k8, k16 or k17) in the cable in the form of one or more electrical or electronic components providing nonambiguous identification of the cable.
