  • Patent number: 12639547
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to chip cards with optimized coupling antennas and methods for the production thereof. An example contactless or mixed contact and contactless chip card includes a chip card body and an antenna insert interposed between outer layers of the chip card body. The antenna insert includes a substrate. The antenna insert also includes on at least one side of the substrate, coils of a concentrator configured to be electromagnetically coupled to coils of an antenna of an electronic module arranged in a cavity of the chip card body. The concentrator includes at least one inner coil that emerges in the cavity and is flush with inner side walls of the cavity of the chip card body.

  • Publication number: 20260044704
Abstract: The invention relates to a contactless or a non-contactless/contactless chip card, the chip card comprising a chip card body (5) and an antenna insert (21) provided between outer layers (2) of the chip card body (5), the antenna insert (21) comprising a substrate and, on at least one face of the substrate, coils of a concentrator (3, 4) intended to be electromagnetically coupled to the coils of an antenna (14) of an electronic module (9) arranged in a cavity (6) of the card body (5), which electronic module is characterised in that the concentrator (3, 4) comprises at least one inner coil (3a, 4a) that opens out into the cavity (6) and is flush with the inner side walls (17) of the cavity (6) in the chip card body (5).

  • Publication number: 20230330875
Abstract: A cutting tool for cutting a corner of a cardboard box is provided. The cutting tool includes a guide member having a handle and a guide extending forwardly from the handle. The guide has a pair of guiding wings adapted to engage the cardboard box to position the cutting tool relative to the corner. The cutting tool also includes a cutting element operatively connected to the guide and extending between the guiding wings. The cutting element is adapted to cut the corner of the box via a downward movement of the guide member along the corner of the box. The cutting tool also includes a cut-stopping system connected to the guide member, the cut-stopping system being adapted to contact a working surface, therefore blocking the downward movement of the guide member and limiting the length of the cut.

  • Patent number: 9409671
Abstract: There is provided a basket assembly for making a basket, as well as a blank for making the basket assembly. A support sheet is mounted along a bottom wall of a container portion of the basket, either inside or outside of the container, providing a multi-layered assembly. The innermost layer of the support sheet and the container portion define a cut-out portion corresponding to a handle for the basket, which is nested in the innermost layer of the multi-layered assembly. The handle portion has opposing ends which are mounted to the container and side edges which are separable from the innermost layer, allowing to lift the nested handle away from the bottom of the container and to draw it out to provide the basket with a handle. The gap appearing in the innermost layer is covered by the outer layer of the multi-layered assembly.

  • Patent number: 6796947
Abstract: A method is disclosed for evaluating the vestibular function in a human subject. The subject is constrained in a substantially erect position so that the head moves in unison with the rest of the body. A controlled stimulus in the form of a sudden angular acceleration is imparted to the body, and the subject's ocular response to the controlled stimulus is measured. The vestibular function is evaluated from the ocular response and the angular velocity of the head.
