Abstract: A seal including a body with a longitudinal axis X that includes a base-piece having a first end and an opposed second end, two opposed side walls connecting the two ends, and two shoulders located on either side of each of the two side walls and at one of the ends. The body is made of a single flexible material and, in a section perpendicular to the X axis, the width of the base-piece, from one side wall to the other, in the vicinity of the end on the opposite side from the shoulders is larger than the width of the base-piece, from one side wall to the other, in the vicinity of the end near the shoulders.

Abstract: A vehicle comprising a frame and a cab or the like supported by the frame by a resilient suspension, the resilient suspension is essentially constituted by a main U-shaped torque rod interposed in slanting or horizontal position between the frame and the cab, a main actuator being associated to the said main torque rod to determine its neutral position.

Abstract: The locking device comprises, for each blade, at least one first subassembly with a fork for locking a finger, one of the fork and finger pivoting on a chassis attached laterally to the hub between the linking members of two neighboring blades, the other element being fixed to the linking member and projecting laterally towards the other linking member so that the pivoting element can be moved between a position in which it is engaged over the finger for locking the blade at least in terms of pitch, and a disengaged position for unlocking.

Abstract: A flap valve vent hood for discharging air to atmosphere from clothes dryers and bathroom vents is provided freeze-free by a secondary valve that is mounted on the principal flap valve and covering an open area that provides a secondary air flow path through the principal flap valve. The principal flap valve and the secondary valve are normally closed and the principal flap valve is biased to its closed position by gravity. A lip along an edge of the open area may be provided to minimize accumulation of moisture where the two valves are in contact with one another. A soffit vent hood of particular construction is provided in which there are two members detachably interconnected one being a downwardly directed hood and the other an insert therefor which carries the valves for respective ones of a pair of outlet discharge openings.
