Abstract: A sign arrangement including a first planar member with a substantially V-shape and a first member slot and a second planar member with a substantially V-shape and a second member slot. The second member is removably receivable within the first member slot and the first member is removably receivable within the second member slot to form a substantially tripod-like structure. Regardless of the orientation of the sign arrangement relative to the ground, the sign arrangement is capable of displaying the information the sign arrangement is designed to convey.

Abstract: An adapter installs on a receiving container aperture to provide a stable base for supporting a common funnel used for transfer of material into the receiving container. Installation on the receiving container aperture is quick and stable by moving the edges of an aperture engagement portion together to allow it to fit inside the receiving container aperture, and then moving the aperture engagement portion edges apart so the outer surface of the aperture engagement portion contacts the inside diameter of the aperture. A spring or a locking mechanism force exerts a continuous outward force to maintain the adapter in the receiving container aperture. The funnel is then supported by holder rings attached to the aperture engagement portion inner surface that are engaged by the funnel stem. The rings are smaller diameter towards the lower part of the fingers to correspond to the funnel stem taper. The adapter thus provides hands-free use of the funnel.

Abstract: A method of fabricating chemical lighting devices, comprising coextensive inner and outer tubes, wherein the inner tube contains multiple, segregated oxalate components, is described. Upon activation the device generates a distinct multi-color array of light.

Abstract: A helical spring coupling for coupling together two helical spring ends, particularly two ends of a carrier in the form of a helical spring in a conveyor, comprises a coupler which is in engagement with both helical spring end portions. Over a certain distance the turns of the two helical spring end portions are turned coaxially into one another and lie one against the other in the axial direction. The turns fit into a helical groove formed in the coupler and whose pitch coincides with the pitch of the turns.The coupler may consist of an elongate core part having a helical rib provided on its outer peripheral surface, the groove being formed in the outer side of the rib. The two helical spring end portions may be fixed by one or more threaded bolts extending transversely through the coupler and pressing against the turns of the helical spring end portions in the groove.
