    Abstract: A common mode filter device (2) comprises two LC-filters (21, 22) which are serially connected, two transformers (23, 25) and an active current control circuit (24). The transformers are dedicated to sensing a common mode current and injecting compensation currents driven by the current control circuit. The transformers provide electric isolation between the current control circuit and power-transferring connections of the common mode filter device. Continuing operation of an electrical apparatus which is power-supplied through the common mode filter device is also ensured in case of failure of the current control circuit, with the LC-filters still producing partial common mode filter function.

    Abstract: The present relates to a method for transmission of variable sized packets from an upper layer of a stack of communication protocol layers to a lower layer intended to manage fixed sized packets. According to the invention, said method comprises the steps of: forming a segmentation and reassembly layer intended to manage SAR packets, each SAR packet being made up of a header obtained in adding delineation information to the header of one of the variable sized packets of the upper layer and of a payload which contains the payload of the upper layer packet, and segmenting the flow of the thus obtained SAR packets into fixed sized packets for transmitting to the lower layer. The present invention also relates to a packet intended to be managed by a layer of a communication protocol stack between an upper layer supporting variable sized packets and a lower layer supporting fixed sized packets. It finally relates to a method for recovering a variable sized packet from a flow of such packets.

    Abstract: The invention concerns a method and device for transmitting blocks of useful data with frequency hopping, a block being transmitted at a single frequency. Insertion of a padding sequence between useful data ensures a transition and stabilization of frequency outside blocks of useful data. Likewise, on reception, when a transition between useful data and padding data is observed, the frequency of a frequency converter converting the data received into a base band signal is modified and the frequency hopping occurs whilst the padding data are present in the said converter.
