  • Publication number: 20240263931
Abstract: The invention relates to a mechanical self-percussion fuze (1) for a non-spinning round, having a firing pin (14) disposed along a central axis (A), a primer (17?) provided in a primer holder (17) that is movable about an axis of rotation (B) that is parallel and off-centre with respect to the central axis (A) between a storage position in which the primer (17?) is off-centre with respect to the firing pin (14) and an armed position in which the primer (17?) is aligned with the firing pin (14), and safety devices coupled to the primer holder (17) in order to keep the fuze (1) in a safe state until at least two mutually independent physical phenomena linked to the firing of the round occur. The fuze (1) has a wind turbine (11) designed to be driven in rotation by the relative movement of the air during the flight of the round and to transmit this rotational movement to the primer holder (17) only after the safety devices have been removed.

  • Patent number: 12038262
Abstract: A mechanical self-percussion fuze for a non-gyrating ammunition includes a firing pin disposed along a central axis and a primer provided in a primer holder. The primer holder is movable about an axis of rotation that is parallel and off-centered with respect to the central axis between a storage position in which the primer is off-centered with respect to the firing pin and an armed position in which the primer is aligned with the firing pin and safety devices coupled to the primer holder in order to keep the fuze in a safe state until at least two mutually independent physical phenomena linked to the firing of the ammunition occur. The fuze has a wind turbine designed to be driven in rotation by the relative movement of the air during the flight of the ammunition and to transmit this rotational movement to the primer holder only after the safety devices have been removed.

  • Publication number: 20230322640
Abstract: These is provided a process and a system for treating a livestock waste and produce fertilizers. The process can include subjecting a livestock waste to a preparation treatment to produce a stabilized livestock waste, the preparation treatment including aerating the livestock waste with an oxygen-containing gas. The process can further include subjecting the stabilized livestock waste to a bioreaction treatment to produce an aerated livestock product. The bioreaction treatment can include aerating the stabilized livestock waste with an oxygen-containing gas that can be supplied by a distribution system to enable aerobic reactions to occur within the stabilized livestock waste. The aerated livestock product can include a solid component and a liquid component, and can be further separated in a solid-liquid separation treatment to produce respective fertilizers, or be used as is as a fertilizer.

  • Publication number: 20220183315
Abstract: The disclosed invention is an insulating device to protect frozen confections and is supported by a receptacle, for example an ice cream cone. The device includes a dome portion, a clamp, and a clamp attachment. The dome portion comprises a concave portion that faces the frozen confection held in the receptacle, to which the insulating device is clamped. The clamp attachment attaches the clamp to the dome portion and comprises a ball-and-socket rotatable joint. The clamp holds the cone by attaching near the rim of the cone, and comprises sturdy, adjustable material such as metal. Embodiments contemplate varying the dome portion size, malleability of the clamp, or both from device to device, to accommodate various cone sizes and various volumes of frozen confection.

  • Patent number: 10537900
Abstract: An electrocyclonic particle collector (EPC) for removing particulate matter from a gas includes an EPC gas inlet, an EPC gas outlet, and an EPC gas flow path between the EPC gas inlet and the EPC gas outlet. A first section is downstream of the EPC gas inlet and includes a first cyclonic particle collector in the gas flow path for cyclonically removing particles from the gas. A second section is in series with the first section and includes a rotational flow chamber in the gas flow path, and at least a first electrode in the gas flow path for facilitating electrostatic removal of particles from the gas stream in the rotational flow chamber.
