  • Patent number: 11959770
Abstract: A method is presented for determining a reliability of a low-definition map to make the activation of at least one driving assistance system of an autonomous vehicle reliable when the autonomous vehicle is traveling on a road and wherein the vehicle comprises a navigation system and a perception system, the navigation system comprising the mapping and providing mapped data, the perception system providing measured data of the vehicle and/or the external environment of the vehicle, the method comprising the steps of: receiving mapped data; receiving measured data; determining a path of the road; calculating a road correlation value; calculating a sign correlation value; determining a reliability indicator, reliable or unreliable.

  • Publication number: 20240035846
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for determining the reliability of a low-definition map in order to improve the reliability of the activation of at least one driving-assistance system of an autonomous vehicle, said autonomous vehicle travelling on a road and comprising a navigation system and a perception system, the navigation system comprising said map and supplying at least one slope and at least one curvature of the road around said vehicle, referred to as a mapped slope and mapped curvature, the perception system supplying a slope and a trajectory of the road around said vehicle, referred to as a measured slope and measured trajectory, said method comprising the steps of: Determining (201) a trajectory of the road; Determining (202) a slope indicator; Determining (203) a trajectory indicator; Calculating (204) a correlation value; Determining (205) a map reliability indicator.

  • Publication number: 20240010197
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for regulating the speed of an autonomous vehicle, referred to as ego vehicle, comprising an adaptive cruise control, said method comprising the steps of activating (201) said adaptive cruise control, receiving (202) information relating to said target vehicle, referred to as target information, receiving (203) information relating to said ego vehicle, referred to as ego vehicle information, determining (204) an inter-vehicle time, determining (205) an alert signal from said target information and said ego vehicle information, determining conditions (206) for substituting (207) a target acceleration for a setpoint acceleration of said cruise control.

  • Publication number: 20230294691
Abstract: The invention relates to an autonomous driving method for a motorized land vehicle, called an ego-vehicle 102, by adaptive speed regulation based on a target speed. The method is suitable for detecting a first target vehicle 104 and for calculating a relevance indicator for the first target vehicle 104, which is configured to characterize a probability of presence of the first target vehicle. Upon detection of a loss of detection of the first target vehicle 104 and if the relevance indicator is greater than a predetermined deselection value, the method calculates an autonomous driving setpoint using the information on the movement of the first vehicle target 104, the target speed and the speed of the ego-vehicle 102.
