  • Publication number: 20220411938
Abstract: An alkaline electrolyser device for hydrogen production includes a first and a second electric charge battery substantially identical. Each electric charge battery has a first electrode of copper, silver or their alloys, coated with zinc, a second electrode with a ferrous catalyst, and an alkaline aqueous solution in which the first and second electrodes are immersed. An output opening placed in correspondence of the second electrode is suitable to allow the escape from the battery of gases which develop in correspondence of the second electrode. The batteries are short-circuited with an electric power supply member placed between the first or the second electrodes, with a predefined polarity such that the voltage across the electrodes is higher than 1.3 V. In this configuration, the first battery undergoes a discharging process producing hydrogen gas, whilst, contextually, the second battery undergoes a charging process generating oxygen gas.

  • Patent number: 9931227
Abstract: An intervertebral prosthesis, particularly for percutaneous minimally-invasive surgery having a substantially disc-like geometry with a thickness equal to the intervertebral distance to be restored is provided. In a lateral elevation view, in the intervertebral prosthesis there is a through-hole adapted to allow its sliding along a guiding wire inserted previously in the patient through a percutaneous minimally-invasive anterolateral access.

  • Publication number: 20180049754

In a lateral elevation view, in the intervertebral prosthesis there is a through hole adapted to allow its sliding along a guiding wire inserted previously in the patient through a percutaneous mini-invasive anterolateral access. The apparatus used to perform the implantation consists of an operating table, on which the patient is rested, preferably in a prone position, provided with a radiological device adapted to take snapshots of radiographs from various angles to monitor the surgical procedures inside the patient, as well as an articulated arm that supports a guiding element adapted to allow correct driving of the wire-guided surgical instruments required for the surgical procedure.
