  • Patent number: 7080493
Abstract: A machine for applying partly adhesive straps to relative products has a folding device located between an input station, where the products are fed onto the machine, and an output station, where the products are fed off the machine; a feed device for feeding the straps successively to the input of the folding device; and a conveying device for feeding the products continuously along a substantially straight path extending between the input station and the output station, so that each strap is folded into a U about the relative product at the folding device.

  • Patent number: 6923311
Abstract: The apparatus is formed of two identical devices (A, A?) installed mirror image-fashion, each of which is equipped with a pressure bar (19, 19?) fitted to overhang the relevant lateral toothed conveyor belts (T, T?) which move and recircle the sai bars, and which are in their turn activated by relevant motors (8, 8?) with electronic speed and phase control governed by one programmable processing unit (26). When the length of the products (P) is less than the length of the straight branches of the conveyors moving the said bars, the two devices are installed mirror-image fashion, with the axles of the pulleys of one conveyor aligned with those of the corresponding pulleys of the other conveyor. In this position, the bars (19, 19?) of the two devices alternate in taking, moving foward by pushing and the final placing of the product in the workstation (K).

  • Patent number: 6868957
Abstract: The thrust bars (11), which are placed behind the product in the transfer phase from a first transport line (L1) to a downstream line (L2), have an adjustable stop (12) resting against the one side of the product in the direction of travel of this product. Articulated joints (10, 10?), connect the ends of the bars to corresponding points of the upper branch or the lower branch of a parallel pair of toothed belt conveyors (T, T?) fed on pulleys with horizontal axles, which are inclined at a right angle to the conveyors (T,T?) which bridge the area between the two transport lines and which with their one branch, work in the direction running from the upstream line to the downstream line at an identical speed to each other such as to be able to effect, with the above-mentioned bars, the transfer of products from one conveyor belt to the other by rear and side thrust.

Abstract: The thrust bars (11), which are placed behind the product in the transfer phase from one transport line (L1) to one downstream (L2), have an adjustable stop (12) resting against the right side of the direction of travel of this product. By means of ball joints or articulated joints (10, 10′), the ends of the aforesaid bars are connected to the same points of the upper branch or the lower one of a parallel pair of toothed belt conveyors (T, T′) fed on pulleys with horizontal axles, placed inclined at the right angle and bridging the area following the two transport lines and which with their own branch, e.g. with a lower branch, work in the direction running from the upstream line to the downstream line at an identical speed such as to be able to effect, with the above-mentioned bars, the conveyance transfer of products from one to the other conveyor belt by rear and side thrust.
