Patent number: 10150529Abstract: The present invention is a folding bicycle that folds along a vertical axis into a compact, free standing unit. Specifically, the present invention comprises a front frame assembly and a rear frame assembly connected at a hinge point. The method of folding the bicycle is quick and easy, resulting in a folded position wherein the front and rear wheels are near adjacent. An optional bushing assembly at the hinge point laterally separates the front and rear frame assemblies as the bicycle folds. The folded bicycle can be easily rolled while folded to another location. When stationary, the seat post and saddle act as a floor rest to keep the folded bicycle balanced in its upright position. The folding mechanism can be locked or unlocked using a remote wireless device, such as a mobile phone.Type: GrantFiled: June 5, 2015Date of Patent: December 11, 2018Inventors: Agustin Augustinoy, Eric Sevillia, Lucas Daniel Toledo

Publication number: 20170303813Abstract: A plurality of stimulations is transmitted to tissue or other material using one or more transmitters. The plurality of signals associated with the excited tissue and the transmitted stimulations are measured. The measured signals are processed to generate field-related quantities, such as B1+ and/or MR signal maps. Field-related quantities are generated also from simulation, by calculating the one or more incident fields from a simulator model of the one or more transmitters and assuming a given distribution of electrical properties in the tissue or other material. Field-related quantities generated from simulation and experimental procedures are compared to each other. The assumed electrical properties distribution is updated and the procedure is repeated iteratively until the difference between simulated and experimental field-related quantities is smaller than a threshold.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 21, 2017Publication date: October 26, 2017Inventors: Riccardo LATTANZI, Daniel K. SODICKSON, José E. CRUZ SERRALLES, Athanasios POLYMERIDIS, Luca DANIEL, Jacob K. WHITE

Publication number: 20140122378Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for providing a rules engine as a platform within a portable electronic device. In one embodiment, a rules engine platform is provided within a portable electronic device by receiving a plurality of rules for one or more modules of the portable electronic device. Additionally, the rules engine platform can receive one or more samples from one or more of the modules within the portable electronic device. The rules engine platform identifies and evaluates one or more relevant rules based on the received sample. The rules engine platform can then determine an action to provide to other modules of the portable electronic device. The rules engine platform may be configured to optimize the performance and power consumption of the portable electronic device.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 15, 2013Publication date: May 1, 2014Applicant: QUALCOMM IncorporatedInventors: Ashwin SWAMINATHAN, Lucas Daniel Kuhn, Li Ding, Evan Patton, Muralidhar R. Publication number: 20120309506Abstract: A Baccarat wagering method is provided for a game of Baccarat lasting at least two rounds of play in which provision is made for placing a bet on an outcome of each round of play ending in a win for a Player hand or a win for a Banker hand. The method includes the steps of determining if the Banker hand wins with a predetermined points total, paying the same odds for a win on the Player hand as for a win on the Banker hand during all rounds of play if the Banker hand does not win with the predetermined points total, and omitting to pay winnings during that, first round of play at least when the Banker hand wins with the predetermined points total. Instead, when the Banker hand does not win with the predetermined points total the winnings are paid out in a subsequent, second round of play.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 6, 2012Publication date: December 6, 2012Inventor: Lucas Daniel Pieter VAN VUUREN
