Abstract: A bicycle assembly includes a shock absorber with a first end and a second end, a link bracket with a first hinge connection for pivotably connecting to the first end of the shock absorber, and a second hinge connection for pivotably connecting to a bicycle frame. A first pivot axis runs through the first hinge connection, and a second pivot axis runs through the second hinge connection. In the installed state of the link bracket on the shock absorber, the second hinge connection and the second pivot axis are arranged between the first end and the second end of the shock absorber relative to the longitudinal axis of the shock absorber. The first pivot axis and the second pivot axis are spaced apart from each other by a positive normal distance and run transversely to each other.
