  • Publication number: 20240096057
Abstract: A computer implemented method for certifying robustness of image classification in a neural network is provided. The method includes initializing a neural network model. The neural network model includes a problem space and a decision boundary. A processor receives a data set of images, image labels, and a perturbation schedule. Images are drawn from the data set in the problem space. A distance from the decision boundary is determined for the images in the problem space. A re-weighting value is applied to the images. A modified perturbation magnitude is applied to the images. A total loss function for the images in the problem space is determined using the re-weighting value. A confidence level of the classification of the images in the data set is evaluated for certifiable robustness.

  • Patent number: 11285605
Abstract: An end effector for engaging flexible packaging materials includes a frame, along with a first and second wheel mounted for rotation with respect to the frame. The first wheel and the second wheel are mounted to the frame relative to each other so that the outer surfaces of the two wheels are positioned opposite of each other. The first wheel and the second wheel can be driven in opposing directions to effectively define a roller intake which can be used to draw the flexible packaging materials of a target parcel between the first wheel and the second wheel. The end effector of the present invention can be combined with a robot to provide an improved system for engaging the flexible packaging materials of a parcel.

  • Patent number: 11051711
Abstract: A plurality of stimulations is transmitted to tissue or other material using one or more transmitters. The plurality of signals associated with the excited tissue and the transmitted stimulations are measured. The measured signals are processed to generate field-related quantities, such as B1+ and/or MR signal maps. Field-related quantities are generated also from simulation, by calculating the one or more incident fields from a simulator model of the one or more transmitters and assuming a given distribution of electrical properties in the tissue or other material. Field-related quantities generated from simulation and experimental procedures are compared to each other. The assumed electrical properties distribution is updated and the procedure is repeated iteratively until the difference between simulated and experimental field-related quantities is smaller than a threshold.

  • Patent number: 10328554
Abstract: A cleanable reversible socket and driver for a hex head fastener having a driver shank with a hex shaped shaft, or otherwise splined, having a tool mounting end and a socket mounting end and a collar therebetween. A cleanable reversible socket is provided having a hex, or otherwise splined, passage therethrough rotationally lockable with the similarly shaped driver shank shaft. The socket is removably, nonrotatably mountable onto the driver shank shaft at the socket mounting end up to the collar having two different sized hex socket ends. A magnet on the socket mounting end of the driver shank is to be located at a bottom of one of the two hex socket ends when the socket is mounted on the driver shank to hold the hex head fastener in one of the socket ends.

  • Patent number: 10295624
Abstract: A method of determining a decoupling matrix of a decoupling system for an array of coils of a parallel transmission magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system includes obtaining impedance matrix data for the array of coils without the decoupling system, determining, based on the impedance matrix data for the array of coils, an objective function representative of deviation from a decoupled operating condition for the array of coils in which the array of coils are decoupled via the decoupling system, and defining, with a processor, a decoupling matrix representative of a set of impedances of the decoupling system with an iterative procedure that optimizes elements of the decoupling matrix to minimize the objective function and reach the decoupled operating condition.

  • Patent number: 10150529
Abstract: The present invention is a folding bicycle that folds along a vertical axis into a compact, free standing unit. Specifically, the present invention comprises a front frame assembly and a rear frame assembly connected at a hinge point. The method of folding the bicycle is quick and easy, resulting in a folded position wherein the front and rear wheels are near adjacent. An optional bushing assembly at the hinge point laterally separates the front and rear frame assemblies as the bicycle folds. The folded bicycle can be easily rolled while folded to another location. When stationary, the seat post and saddle act as a floor rest to keep the folded bicycle balanced in its upright position. The folding mechanism can be locked or unlocked using a remote wireless device, such as a mobile phone.
