Opening of the door is facilitated by an actuator that secures to the door behind the door pivot. The actuator may also secure to a door frame behind the door pivot. The door may have a range of motion such that at least a portion of the door is positioned forward of the door pivot when opened. The actuator may be a gas spring that may include damping. The actuator may be mounted between panels of the door and may extend through a slot defined by the door to secure to the door frame.

Abstract: A dual reservoir fuel tank, wherein the fuel tank comprises a main fuel reservoir having an inner wall and an outer wall that define a main reservoir chamber, and an auxiliary fuel reservoir connected to a bottom of the main fuel reservoir. The dual reservoir fuel tank additionally includes a fuel retention lip structured and operable to retain fuel within the auxiliary reservoir chamber when the dual reservoir fuel tank is disposed at an angle.

Abstract: A door handle on a vehicle door includes a first grip and a second grip configured to engage fingers of a user and a web extending between the first grip and the second grip. One grip is accessible from the interior of the vehicle and the second is accessible from the exterior of the vehicle. A structure on the door handle is coupled to a latch, such as by one or more links, for releasing the latch from a striker responsive to rotation of the door handle. The one or more links may include a link having one slot receiving the structure and another slot coupled to the latch. The door handle may be positioned between mounting flanges and secured by a pin passing through the patch and an opening defined by the door handle.
