  • Patent number: 11310716
Abstract: A method implemented by a first node of an ad hoc network, including maintaining a routing table containing at least one route available within the network having at least one segment directly linking two nodes of the network by a connectivity link having a type identified in the table, and for each node of a segment, an indication concerning its degree of mobility. The table is maintained based on information extracted from control messages emitted over the network and intended for or traveling through the first node. The method includes: upon sending a data message from the first node to a second node: identifying, by using the table, at least one route between the first and second nodes; and determining a level of stability of each route based on the degree of mobility of the nodes and on the type of connectivity links; and selecting the most stable route.
