Abstract: A power generating apparatus for fluid flow conduits where the apparatus includes an impeller positioned in the path of the fluid flow. The impeller is either directly or magnetically coupled to an electric generator outside of the fluid flow conduit. As the fluid flows it causes the impeller to rotate thus causing the electrical generator to turn and thereby produce electricity. This can then be used to power various devices or to trickle charge batteries. The fluid flow conduits may be common commercial or domestic water pipes or other systems such as solar water heaters and distillation devices.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an image projection device of the type playing images receive via remote means or read from a stored data media. When a mobile phone, the device includes an image projection capability in addition to the standard display. Both the display and the image may be the same or may differ according to the user requirements. The device may also be a smart card or compact disc player that projects an image of the data. The device may further still include a camera to record an image and in the case of a mobile phone transmit it to another receiver. This allows the use of mobile phones for video conferencing.

Abstract: An image projector assembly including a mountable image projection device and a docking station adapted for mounting said device. The image projection device is the optical engine and typically includes an image generating apparatus and a light source to project through said apparatus to thereby provide for an image. The docking station includes a signal generating apparatus to provide a signal to the image generating apparatus representative of a visual image and includes a power source for the optical engine. The demountable aspect of the assembly provides for easy replacement and maintenance of the optical engine as well as its portability to use in different optical engines thereby saving on cost.
