Abstract: The present invention relates to an antioxidant complex comprising from 0.000001% to 40.00000% by weight of at lest one cinnamiA acid, from 0.000001% to 40.00000% by weight of at least one carotenoid, from 0.000001% to 99.999998% by weight of vitamin E, and a cosmetically and pharmaceutically acceptable a carrier, all the amounts being based on the total weight of the antioxidant complex. The present invention further relates to cosmetic and pharmaceutical compositions comprising said antioxidant complex.
