Abstract: The present invention relates to foundry binder systems forming a curable polyurethane with a catalytically effective amount of a curing catalyst, comprising at least one phenolic resin component comprising at least: a phenolic resin and a solvent of triacetin type and a polyisocyanate component. The invention also relates to foundry mixtures prepared from the binder and an aggregate, to foundry forms such as cores and molds prepared via the no-bake or cold-box processes, and also to the respective processes. The foundry forms obtained by the present invention are especially used for manufacturing metallic components, especially for the casting of metallic components.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a suspension of an inorganic filler in a polyesterpolyol and the method for producing this suspension. It relates more especially to a stable suspension comprising, as liquid medium, a polyesterdiol compound and, as dispersed particles, an inorganic particulate filler at a weight concentration of between 0.8 and 8%. Such suspensions are used, for example, for producing polyurethanes such as polyurethane foams or thermoplastic polyurethanes.

Abstract: The present invention relates to polyurethane foams used especially for manufacturing moulded articles such as soles for various types of shoe. The invention relates more particularly to a low-density polyurethane foam whose mechanical properties are suitable for use as shoe soles and even more particularly for sports shoe soles or platform-sole shoes worn especially by women.
