  • Patent number: 8991438
Abstract: The invention provides a fluid transfer pipe for filling a cooling circuit of a motor vehicle, and the method for manufacturing said pipe. This pipe includes at least one corrugated bendable portion based on at least one thermoplastic material and which includes a succession of radial reliefs axially spaced so as to form hollows between them, each relief having two frontal regions linked together by an intermediate region, the frontal regions of each relief each having one and the same overall polygonal contour defining at least three straight sections forming flats for this relief and interlinked by rounded sections forming bulges, and the contours of the successive reliefs being adapted to allow for the stripping of the corrugated portion from two hemicylindrical shells of a mold along a single axial stripping plane.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 12, 2011
Date of Patent: March 31, 2015
    Assignee: Hutchinson SRL
Inventors: Luciano Bertero, Mario Robasto, Romain Jeanson, Claudio Ramaro

  • Patent number: 6576872
Abstract: An oven for continuous curing of a succession of pre-formed elastomer articles, in particular tubes, which comprises a curing chamber at atmospheric pressure, communicating with the exterior by means of an intake aperture and an output aperture, a chain, which can advance the pre-formed articles along a closed path, extending through the curing chamber, and a unit for admission of water vapor into the curing chamber in order to keep it saturated with steam.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 17, 2001
Date of Patent: June 10, 2003
    Assignee: Dayco Fluid Technologies S.p.A.

  • Patent number: 6435217
Abstract: A multilayer pipe for conducting fuel, in particular from a vehicle pump to the engine, and which is capable of withstanding pressures of over 100 bar, is impermeable to hydrocarbon vapors, and includes at least one inner layer of elastomeric material, preferably acrylonitrile/butadiene and hydrogenated acrylonitrile/butadiene; a barrier layer having at least one polyamide, preferably nylon 6/6.6 or mixtures of nylon and polypropylene; a reinforcing layer defined by a spun fabric having aramidic fibers, preferably TWARON® or KEVLAR®; and a cover layer of elastomeric material, preferably chlorinated polyethylene.
