  • Patent number: 10647336
Abstract: A method and a system for checking the correct rail position of a guide member of a guided vehicle. The system is based on the use of an electrical switch designed to cooperate with a guide member of the vehicle guided by at least one guide rail. The switch has two states, respectively a first state and a second state. In one of the states the electrical switch is open and in the other state the electrical switch is closed. The switch is mounted on a load-bearing structure such that it is able to interact with the guide member. The switch is able to switch from the first state to the second state by interacting with at least one part of the guide member.

  • Patent number: 9555819
Abstract: A guided vehicle includes a guidance unit having first and second V-mounted guide pulleys resting on first and second running surfaces of a guide rail. The running surfaces are on sides of a median longitudinal plane of the guide rail and each pulley has a flange for freely gripping the guide rail. A device and method protecting against loss of vehicle guidance include a section with longitudinal height fixed along its length to a guide rail part, between running surfaces, the section having a cross-section guiding the unit during derailment or loss of guidance thereof with the section fixed to the guide rail part. The cross-section geometry holds the first pulley flange on the side of the median plane including the first pulley running surface and the second pulley flange on the side including the second pulley running surface. A device fixes the section to the guide rail.

  • Patent number: 9422672
Abstract: A device to be fitted to a guided vehicle moving on a track having a guide rail and two side rails parallel to and on each side of the guide rail maintains a trajectory of the vehicle upon derailment. The vehicle includes a guidance unit having guide wheels to be supported on the guide rail. The device includes a bar to be fixed to the guidance unit transverse to the track. The bar has a length L between a distance D mutually separating the side rails minus the width C of the head of the guide rail and the distance D mutually separating side rails, i.e. D?C<L<D. A fixing device fixes the bar to the guidance unit with the bar transversely between and level with the side rails and supported on one of the side rails during a derailment and/or failure of vehicle guidance.

  • Patent number: 9404937
Abstract: A device for measuring the acceleration of a moving body includes a pendulum capable of oscillating about an instantaneous center of rotation and a detection system capable of detecting an oscillation of the pendulum that is likely to result from the acceleration. The pendulum has a geometric configuration enabling it to interact with the detection system. The geometric configuration is such that the detection system only indicates an oscillation of the pendulum that exceeds a threshold oscillation value.

  • Patent number: 8511622
Abstract: A vehicle that is guided by a guiding system is monitored for derailment. The guiding system has a guiding member interacting with a railhead of a rail that guides the vehicle. The device includes a clamp with a bottom jaw tightly surrounding the railhead in a contactless manner in the closed position thereof, capable of opening the jaw when interaction is lost between the guiding member and the rail. The opening results when the railhead at least partially exits the jaw. A top rod of the clamp enables mechanical transmission of the opening of the jaw to a switch. The switch has a nominal configuration corresponding to the closed position of the clamp during correct re-railing and an alarm configuration generated by mechanical transmission of the opening of the jaw to the switch. The alarm configuration actuates a safety system of the guided vehicle.
