  • Publication number: 20090078010
Abstract: A break-in resistant cylinder for locks, comprising a stator provided with a substantially cylindrical longitudinal cavity for accommodating a rotor with a longitudinal recess for the insertion of a key. The rotor and the stator comprise a plurality of channels which are substantially aligned and face each other (when the cylinder is in the closed configuration); the channels accommodate respective coding pins, tumbler pins and any elastic elements designed to prevent the rotation of the rotor within the stator if the key is not present in the longitudinal recess. At least one of the tumbler pins comprises a bush and a spike; the stem of the spike has a smaller diameter than the inside diameter of the bush and is longer than the bush. The spike is arranged so that its head is directed toward the bottom of the channel of the stator and rests against the elastic elements and the free end of the stem rests against the lower surface of the coding pin.

  • Patent number: 7188495
Abstract: An electric lock with magnetic support of the coupling element, comprising a locking element engaging a selvage, a decoding assembly for a code bearing component, an actuation element, connected to an internal handle and associated with the locking element, and a second actuation element, connected to an external handle and coupled to the locking element by way of an electromechanical device. The actuation element comprises a stem connected to the external handle with a rotating plate and a contrast plate, at an end resting freely on a rotatable sleeve, coupled to the locking element and provided with notches; an electric motor and a slider, aligned with the notches actuatable to perform translational motion, and a magnet supporting a coupling element adapted to enter the notches to rigidly couple to each other the plate, the contrast plate and the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 7168276
Abstract: An electric lock with multiple-function spring, with a locking element, a decoding assembly for a code bearing component, a first actuation element connected to an internal handle, and a second actuation element connected to an external handle both coupled to the locking element by an electromechanical device; the second actuation element comprises a protruding stem that ends with a rotating plate, a rotatable contrast plate that rests freely on a rotatable sleeve coupled to the locking element, the plates and the sleeve being provided with respective notches; the electromechanical device has a motor with a worm screw on its shaft, a slider, coupled to the screw through a spring with one end fixed on the lock body, the central portion engaged on the slider, and the opposite end accommodated between two crests of the screw, and a coupling element for entering notches to couple plates and sleeve.
