  • Patent number: 5328111
Abstract: Equipment for the application of the control method, particularly for spooling machines includes a detect-to the signal from an encoder capable of converting it into a binary number (N1) representing the angular position of the spool, a storing element capable of receiving at its input the binary number (N1) and of storing it for the duration of a cycle, supplying at the output a corresponding continuous signal (N2) to be sent to a digital/analog converter capable of converting the signal (N2) to a voltage value to be sent to an adder to control the servo mechanism, a signal emitting element transmitting a signal whenever the thread guide passes through a predetermined control point of its travel, and control element capable of making available at the input of the detector a correction signal corresponding to this specific cycle, the reading of the correction signal being determined by a detector activated by the signal at the start of each cycle and by the value of the binary number (N1).

  • Patent number: 4703391
Abstract: A method and relative circuit in which, signals (sin .phi.M, cos .phi.M) detected by an inductive transducer, supplied by a suitable oscillator, are caused to pass through a RC circuit, to obtain an output signal (VA) out of phase by an angle (.phi.M) proportional to the angle between the polar axis of the rotor and the polar axis of the stator of the transducer, in the case of a rotary detector. Two sets of signals are separately processed: the first set comprises the output signal of the oscillator (fr) and the output signal from the circuit RC (VA); the second set comprises the output signal from the circuit RC (VA) and a signal having the same frequency as the output signal from the oscillator, but out of phase by a fixed angle (F2). Each of these sets, are made to pass through a circuit for detecting the equivalence or not equivalence of the polarity of the input signals, then filtered, derived, in case inverted and then selected by a selecting means to output a tachymetric signal of infinite resolution.

  • Patent number: 4489266
Abstract: This invention relates to a circuit and to a method for processing amplitude and phase variable multiphase signals, which are required as current or voltage reference to drive electric motors, comprising a synchro-resolver angular position transducer, rigidly connected with a synchronous motor with the same polar configuration and number of poles thereof, according to which the analog signals detected by said transducer are modulated, demodulated and outputted out of phase by 90.degree. with the signals relating to the rotating magnetic field. The circuit moreover comprises a phase shifter device and means for modifying the amplitude of signals out-putted by said transducer as a function of at least one control signal. The resultant of the signals processed by said means is supplied to an amplifier to generate in the stator currents of determined amplitude and phases for driving said motor complying with the magnetic laws thereof.

  • Patent number: 4355342
Abstract: A chopping transistor connected across a d-c power supply, in series with a load such as a motor, has its base connected to an output of an oscillator generating a train of voltage pulses V.sub.1 by which that transistor is alternately turned on and off. A threshold sensor emits a series of monitoring pulses V.sub.2 of the same polarity as the conduction-establishing control pulses V.sub.1 when the collector/emitter voltage of the transistor surpasses a certain limit; the joint appearance of signals V.sub.1 and V.sub.2 at respective inputs of an AND gate gives rise to an off-normal signal V.sub.3 which, if of extended duration, passes a delay circuit to act as an alarm signal V.sub.4. A memory tripped by that alarm signal emits a permanent disconnect signal V.sub.5 which either blocks the oscillator or fires a thyristor in shunt with the transistor whereby a fuse in series therewith is blown.

  • Patent number: 3988879
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for yarn length measuring according to rotations of a shaft. Rotation of said shaft generates reference pulses which are converted on a manually settable device, into count pulses with a frequency ratio presettable in accordance with the ratio of the yarn length to be measured and a fixed count capability. Counters are provided for each working station of a textile machine which, independently, effecting the count for a same number of count pulses as said counting capability.
