    Abstract: The safety device comprises an electric circuit comprising at least a current-limiting fuse and a current switch connected in series with the fuse. The switch has a moving contact which can be actuated by a drive mechanism to open or close the switch. The mechanism is arranged so as to prevent the fuse(s) being disengaged or engaged while the switch is closed and it has a drive lever occupying a first position or a second position respectively when the switch is closed and when it is open. Each fuse has a handle member which is either masked or uncovered depending on the position of the lever, the lever being designed to cover the handle member so as to mask it.
