Abstract: The invention concerns an improved peristaltic pump including at least one elastically flattenable tube and at least two assemblies of two pressing elements placed opposite each other, each of said assemblies being configured to compress the tube at a different point from the pump. These two pressing elements of a single assembly are placed on either side of the tube, at least one of the pressing elements of this single assembly is mobile such that the distance separating the pressing elements of the single assembly is adjustable, to allow the pressing members to be placed in a rest position, in which the tube is not compressed by the pressing elements, or to allow the pressing elements to be placed in a position compressing the tube. Advantageously, the adjustment is made automatically when the peristaltic pump or pumping is started or stopped.

Abstract: Apparatus for transporting a material such as concrete utilizes a flexible duct connected to a hopper and includes a device that can pinch the duct. The pinching device has first and second pinch members that are movable transversely relative to the duct, and a drive member situated between the pinch members and likewise movable transversely to the duct. The apparatus also has an air injector, and a controller for timing the injection of air and the movements of the pinch and drive members so as to drive the material in the flexible duct.

Abstract: This invention relates to a straight peristaltic pump for conveying concrete or the like, comprising a straight hose adapted to be elastically flattened and extending between a base and pressure rollers; the rollers are mounted idly about transverse pins supported by rollers in abutment on runways; the pins connect two endless chains meshing with two pairs of toothed wheels. According to the invention, an inclined ramp of the runways connects their upstream circular part to their straight part and at least one counter gear supported by the frame meshes with each chain in the zone of connection of the ramp with said straight part.
