Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing customized food blends for animals includes a food assembler that is in electrical connection with one or more computer systems that provide instructions and specifications for the preparation of a custom food blend. The food assembler includes a number of basic food elements contained in hoppers that can be selectively combined to create a custom food blended from the basic food elements. These elements may include a selection of meats, fruits, vegetables, grains, herbs, vitamins, minerals, and other therapeutic elements.
