  • Patent number: 5568720
Abstract: Doffer system for a textile machine, in particular for a multiposition textile machine, comprising a guiding device (3, 4, 5), which is arranged in front of and above a machine front, a transport unit (14) traveling along the guiding device (3, 4, 5), a hoisting device (17, 19) which allows to lower and raise the carrying frame (20), and at least one receiving mandrel (23, 24) which is arranged on the carrying frame (20) horizontally extending therefrom.

  • Patent number: 5350128
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for transporting empty yarn winding tubes from a tube supply magazine, and then loading the tubes onto the transport: mandrel, of a service carriage. A rake removes the empty tubes in layers from a cardboard carton and delivers the tubes in a predetermined orientation to a channeled tube receiving tray, and the tubes are then individually dispensed from the tray and moved coaxially onto the transport mandrel of a service carriage.

  • Patent number: 5337967
Abstract: A textile yarn spinning apparatus for the continuous production of a plurality of synthetic filament yarns is described, which comprises a plurality of winding machines arranged in rows along a service aisle, and a doffer adapted for movement in the service aisle from winding machine to winding machine. The doffer receives at each contacted and serviced winding machine full packages from the winding spindles and delivers the full packages to a transport carriage. In addition to the doffer, a back-up system is provided for manually removing full packages from the winding spindles, and which comprises an independent service carriage for loading the full packages, and an elevator for lifting the full packages so that they can be transferred to the mandrels on a transport carriage.

  • Patent number: 5270951
Abstract: A method of storing in a memory having a predetermined number of storage spaces signals representative of deviations in the tension continuously monitored in a plurality of strands of yarn running in a textile machine. The signals from the individual strands are sequentially fed into a memory and are initially stored in the available spaces. Once the memory is filled, the highest number of earlier stored signals is reduced by later signals being written over them.

  • Patent number: 5055829
Abstract: In monitoring the yarn tension at each of a plurality of yarn processing stations, the mean value of the monitored tension is continuously determined at each station, and the differential between the monitored value and the mean value is also continuously determined. In addition, an overall mean value is generated which is representative of an average of the mean value signals from all of the individual stations, and the overall mean value is compared with the individual mean value of each station. In the event the mean value signal at a particular station differs from the overall mean value signal by more than a predetermined tolerance limit, an alarm signal is generated.

  • Patent number: 4797062
Abstract: A device for moving a gas at a subatmospheric pressure with a screwthread-like device on at least one of the facing surfaces of a rotor spacedly surrounded axially by a relatively-rotatable stator insulates the stator from a housing for the device to prevent thermal variation of the space between the rotor and stator and, thus, keeping the gas-moving action constant.
