Abstract: A dispenser for paste compositions is formed of a housing having an inside wall formed about a longitudinal axis for containing said compositions and being open at one end. A piston is arranged to move axially within the housing to urge the compositions towards the open end. A locking mechanism supports the piston within the housing against the inside wall and prevents the piston from moving in a direction opposite to a dispensing direction. A head part is arranged at the open end of the housing for displacement of a portion of the composition to be dispensed. A push button is arranged laterally next to the head part for pressing against and deflecting at least a part of the head part The head part has a centrally arranged closing valve formed with a valve body, the valve being opened and closed upon the activation of the push button. A connecting rod passes axially through the housing and is held by a holder positioned in a guide cylinder of the valve body with very little axial free play.

Abstract: A dispenser for pasty compositions having a housing which contains a piston which can be displaced only in the emptying direction, the housing having an external handle to actuate a pump wall, which wall can be pushed in the direction of the piston in order to dispense the contents from an outlet opening in a top cover of the housing, the cover being connected to the pump wall by a small tube, and the pump wall having a tube channel formed thereon. A plug is formed on the tube channel at its end, the plug extending into a cover-side outlet opening and closing the outlet opening form below.

A moveable flank forms a separation chamber (A) and in the flank fixed on the housing has a separation finger (F) associated with the separation chamber. To obtain a structurally simple dispenser with optimal functioning and gentle treatment of the tablets, the separation finger (F) is formed by a bottom vertex (22) of a first oblique surface (I) which commences on top opposite an upper closure (23) of the separation chamber (A). The housing has a dispensing opening near the bottom thereof and can be closed by a hand-operated actuator. The actuator has a dosing chamber the internal end of which is closed in the dispensing position of the actuator relative to the storage space by a partition wall and whose dispensing end is aligned with the dispensing opening in the dispensing position. The size of the dosing chamber is substantially greater than the diameter of the pellets. The dosing chamber has a cover which adjacent the storage area forms an auxiliary dosing chamber. The auxiliary dosing chamber has a depth which is approximately equal to the diameter of a pellet and has upper flanks which converge toward one another and end in an upwarded direction notch, wherein the notch is narrower than the diameter of a pellet.

An actuator enables a headpiece to act on a restorable wall which can be pressed in the direction towards the piston, the headpiece having a dispenser outlet opening. The wall forms an outlet tube the opening of which is coordinated to the outlet opening, and on which opening a stopper is formed which closes the outlet opening. The outlet opening is formed in the front side actuator and the actuator can act on the wall by means of the lever transmission.

Abstract: A dispenser is disclosed for dispensing strips which contain medicine and can be divided into individual sections as they are dispensed. The dispenser includes a housing having a storage space for strips and a discharge passageway through which strips are dispensed. A ramp interconnects the storage space and passageway. A feed wheel having a peripheral gear feeds strips along the ramp. The feed wheel is actuated by a member operable from outside the housing. The actuating member shifts a drive pawl which engages the peripheral gear on the feed wheel. A cap is secured over the dispensing end of the housing and is held in place by a snap connection.

The dispenser includes a housing forming a tablet storage compartment, a movable slide and an operating key for the slide mounted adjacent a wall of the housing. A detent blocks movement of the slide toward a discharge position. The detent is mounted on the housing remote from the operating key. The slide is moved by simultaneous movement of the detent and operating key.

Abstract: There is provided a dispenser with a casing for tablets, capsules and the like, with a drop-out opening closed by a slide for dispensing one tablet at a time, the opening being disposed at the end of a tablet feed duct designed to hold a plurality of tablets in a prearranged position. A shaking/vibrating motion is imparted to the tablet feed duct during dispensing of a tablet so as to prevent bridging of the tablets and blocking of the dispensing passageway.

Abstract: A device for dispensing granular media or tablets in portions from a supply space therein is disclosed. The device comprises a casing having an outlet sealable by a normally closed spring-loaded tappet. The device also includes an actuating system located within a recess in the outer walls of the casing. The tappet emerges from an internal wall within the casing. The wall forms an internal shaft for supporting the tappet and spaces the tappet from the outer walls of the casing. The internal wall also forms a space between an outer walls and a supply space which is open towards the recess and allows for easy formation of the casing. The supply space has a lower portion from which there extends a duct which forms the outlet for the device. The tappet has an opening therethrough at a lower end thereof capable of being moved in front of the duct when in a dispensing position. The supply space is then sealed by an insert located within the lower portion of the supply space.

An outer actuating handle is provided on a wall (10) of the head piece (K). The wall can be pressed in the direction towards the piston, the head piece having a dispenser outlet opening (7) which lies at the outer end (9") of a tube (9) whose end section (9') forms an inner open mouth end the end section over its entire length protruding inwards beyond the wall into the pasty composition. In order to obtain a structural shape which is simple to manufacture and a self-regulation of the delivery which is free of loss the actuating handle is formed as a dome-shaped cap (6) and is seated on a collar (12) which lies concentric to the tube (9) and which collar protrudes outwardly beyond the wall (10). A removable closure lid has a stopper which extends into the dispenser outlet opening.
