    Abstract: A sanitary device comprises a bathtub arranged on feet, a bathtub encasement, a set of fittings for the water inlet, the water overflow and the water drain, a handheld shower head held on the ledge of the bathtub, and a mixing fitting for cold and hot water. The mixing fitting has connections on the inlet side for cold and hot water. Connections of the fitting on the outlet side are connected with the water inlet for the set of fittings and the handheld shower head. The mixing fitting is arranged within the space enclosed by the tub encasement. The mixing fitting has electrically actuated adjusting devices with an associated electronic control that can be controlled by means of an input/output device arranged on the ledge of the tub.

The electronic controlling device comprises interfaces for connecting at least one data input and output device, a temperature sensor and a system for detecting the filling level in the tub. The mixing valve comprises a valve block containing separate inlets for cold and hot water, and a channel for mixed water with a mixed-water outlet, and valve chambers for rotary valves with rotating valve bodies. Two rotary valve drives connected to the controlling device are secured on the outer side of the valve block.

The device further has a drive means for driving the impeller via a drive shaft. The driving means is arranged on the driving axle of the impeller but behind the impeller as viewed within the tub. In addition, the device further comprises a driving means such as a hydromotor, a pneumatic drive or a mechanical drive, that are driven by at least one central power drive, and can be serviced and repaired from within the whirlpool tub.
