  • Patent number: 10326223
Abstract: An electrical press-in contact element with at least one press-in section, which extends in a direction of extension from a root area, in which the press-in section is connected with a contact body, up to a free end, and which has a middle zone flanked on either side by a respective edge zone from the root area up to the free end, wherein the edge zones form contact surfaces facing away from each other that, once the press-in section has been inserted into a press-in opening, for example of a circuit board, abut against the wall of the press-in opening. In order to improve the stability and contact reliability, it is provided that the edge zones are bent away from the middle zone around a bending line, so that the press-in section has a U- or C-shaped cross section. The edge zones form webs that project from the middle zone.

  • Patent number: 7655859
Abstract: In order to deliver the current generated by means of photovoltaic solar elements, the invention proposes a connector for a solar module that is accommodated in a connector housing and can be connected to the solar elements. The solar elements are interconnected by means of flat connecting lines and embedding in a translucent sandwich panel. The current is delivered through an opening in one of the sheets of the sandwich panel by means of springable contact elements that are in electric contact with the connecting lines of the solar elements.

Abstract: In order to deliver the current generated by means of photovoltaic solar elements, the invention proposes a connector for a solar module that is accommodated in a connector housing and can be connected to the solar elements. The solar elements are interconnected by means of flat connecting lines and embedded in a translucid sandwich panel. The current is delivered through an opening in one of the sheets of the sandwich panel by means of springable contact elements that are in electric contact with the connecting lines of the solar elements.

  • Patent number: 6336824
Abstract: A screwless junction box or terminal connector includes a housing containing a chamber in which are mounted an electrical contact and a clamping spring, the clamping spring being operable to bias a conductor toward electrical engagement with the contact, characterized by the provision of a slide member that is manually operable from a released position toward an inserted position, thereby to displace the clamping leg toward a disengaged position relative to the electrical contact, whereby the conductor may be inserted directly within the housing chamber. A restoring spring biases the slide member toward its released return position.

  • Patent number: 5944538
Abstract: A pin shaped contact element for contact-making fixing in metal coated holes of electric printed circuit boards. A press-in region is provided with a longitudinal hole and an adjacent connection region. To create a press-in region which produces an air tight electric connection between the coating of the hole and the press-in region during the pressing-in process and avoid chips forming from the metal coating, edge regions of the longitudinal sides of the two contact limbs extend at an acute angle to each other in a V shape. The limbs have a rounded shape. In each of the two sides, at least one longitudinal channel is integrally formed.
