  • Patent number: 11554527
Abstract: A method for forming plastic parisons to plastic bottles includes the following steps: introducing in a blow mold a plastic parison to be expanded, the blow mold having at least two lateral parts and a base part that is mobile in relation to said lateral parts in a longitudinal direction of the plastic parison; inserting a rod-shaped element in the interior of the plastic parison through a mouth of the plastic parison; applying a first pressure the plastic parison, applying a second pressure to the plastic parison, the second pressure deviating from the first pressure and being higher than the first pressure, applying a third pressure to the plastic parison, the third pressure deviating from the second pressure and being higher than the second pressure. The base part is advanced in the longitudinal direction of the plastic parison while at least temporarily applying the second pressure to the plastic parison.

  • Patent number: 11161667
Abstract: A plastic container has a mouth portion, a main body, and a base portion which adjoins the main body. The base portion has a central region as well as a diaphragm which runs in a circumferential direction and extends from the central region to the main body. The central region is pivotable relative to the main body between at least two positions which differ with regard to an internal volume of the container. The wall has at least one and preferably at least two circumferential grooves and are spaced apart from one another. The central region has a projection extending in the direction of the interior of the plastic container, and at least one web extending at least in part in a radial direction in the circumferential wall.

  • Patent number: 11141906
Abstract: A method for forming plastic preforms into plastic bottles includes introducing a plastic preform to be expanded into a blow mould, wherein this blow mould has at least two side parts and a bottom part which is movable in a longitudinal direction of the plastic preform in relation to these side parts; introducing a rod-shaped body through a mouth of the plastic preform into the interior of the plastic preform; applying a first pressure to the plastic preform; applying a second pressure to the plastic preform, wherein this second pressure differs from the first pressure and is higher than the first pressure; applying a third pressure to the plastic preform, wherein this third pressure differs from the second pressure and is higher than the second pressure. After applying the third pressure to the plastic preform, the bottom part is moved in the longitudinal direction of the plastic preform towards the latter.

  • Publication number: 20200270111
Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing filled containers includes a transport unit that is suitable and designed for transporting containers that are filled with a liquid and are closed with a closure cap. The apparatus includes a penetration unit that is suitable and designed for generating an opening in at least an area of the closure cap and/or of the container, and an application unit that applies a flowable and in particular gaseous medium onto an internal space of the container through this opening (or feeds gaseous medium into this intern space). Further the apparatus includes a closing unit that re-closes the opening.

  • Publication number: 20200270110
Abstract: Disclosed is a device and a method for filling and closing a thin-walled plastic container, in particular a PET bottle, wherein a plastic container is produced from a preform by a blow moulding process, and the plastic container is filled with a flowable medium and in particular a liquid, and also a replacement medium is introduced into the plastic container so that as the internal container pressure increases at least partial displacement of the previously contained medium takes place and the plastic container is at least partially closed, plastic container, a wall of the container closure or between a wall of the plastic container and a wall of the container closure at least one opening is introduced, and through this opening in the interior space of the plastic container a predetermined internal container pressure is set by feeding in and/or discharging a gaseous medium.
