Abstract: A vehicle-sharing system includes a server having access to a database including information on subscription of a user to a carshare service. A terminal of the user includes a local database including a list of vehicles likely to be use. For each vehicle, information for establishing a communication with that vehicle. The terminal is configured to pair with a vehicle and to send to the vehicle a reference to the user's subscription of the vehicle-sharing service. The vehicle is configured to transmit the reference to the server. The server is configured to verify the subscription information of the user present in the database of the server from the transmitted reference. If the verification succeeds, server sends an authorization for access to the vehicle to remotely allow the user to access the vehicle.

The server verifies an authorization for the association between the object identifier and the user identifier, including verification of whether or not there is pre-existing association of the object identifier with at least one other user identifier. If association is authorized, the object identifier is associated with the user identifier in a database which can be accessed by the remote server. The database includes at least one user identifier list and one object identifier list.

Abstract: Method for remote recovery by a terminal of at least one authentication code required by a control terminal. Control terminals located in a predefined geographic area is identified by a terminal. A request is sent by the terminal to a remote server according to a first communication protocol. The request is a demand for at least one authentication code corresponding to at least one of the control terminals selected from the identified control terminals. The authentication code is sent by the remote server to the terminal according to the first communication protocol. The authentication code corresponding to the selected control terminal is sent by the terminal via a second communication protocol.
