    Abstract: In an apparatus for the doping of vessel supports (stents) with radioactive and non-radioactive atoms comprising an electron-cyclotron-ion-source (ECRIS) with an arrangement for extracting an ion beam from the ECRIS, a magnetic separation device for the splitting of the ion beam arranged in a downstream area of the extracted ion beam and an irradiation chamber in which the vessel supports are exposed to the selected partial ion beam, the ECRIS includes a microwave-permeable plasma chamber with a magnetic, six-pole arrangement, an electrically conductive tube portion disposed within the plasma chamber co-axially with the six-pole arrangement and having an in-coupling opening and also being axially movable for an adjustment of an optimal in-coupling and a co-axial cable extends through the in-coupling opening and has an outer sleeve which is in electrical contact and an inner conductor which is electrically insulated and forms at the inner wall of the tube a flat loop whose end is in contact with the tube wall.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a control system for an ink blade of a printing machine provided with a series of key setting units each having a key position sensor and a key drive controlled by an adjusting device described in patent application Ser. No. 252,126. In order to achieve proper adjustment of marginal key setting units, there is provided a switching unit with a plurality of contacts assigned to respective key position measuring sensors and including additional switching contacts assigned to imaginary key position setting units adjoining the real setting units at each end of the ink zone. The additional marginal switching contacts are connected to the output of assigned sample-and-hold members which apply thereto the measured value from the extreme actual position sensors so that comparing differential transducer comparing the measured values of consecutive pairs of position sensors always produces a starting difference which does not exceed a predetermined limit value.

The control device further includes a differential former interconnected between the program control request and the multiplexers at the input side of the control system, and a computer interconnected between the differential former and the single motor control unit. The motor control unit controls the adjustment system so that the unsteady course of the positions of the ink knife support elements is balanced to the steady function of the knife bending curve.

The flash-limiting arrangement is constructed to sense the light being received by the camera, to produce a signal which is the sum of a component proportional to the time integral of the intensity of such light and a component which is proportional to the instantaneous amplitude of the intensity of such light, and to terminate the flash when this signal reaches a predetermined value.
