  • Patent number: 4493119
Abstract: The device for the treatment of the eyes with a washing or bathing liquid consists of a container, which possesses a cover, in which are located two vertical whirlpool tubes as washing devices, spaced to accommodate the two eyes, in the interior cross section of which is located a whirlpool device to generate bubbles as in the manner of a whirlpool bath. The cover carries the whirlpool tubes with intake. Only the washing liquid is located in the container.

  • Patent number: 4122846
Abstract: A bubble device for the treatment of the human body has two major surfaces, each adapted to support the body of a person to be treated. One of the surfaces is provided with relatively small bores for emergence of the bubble medium to obtain small pearly bubbles; the other surface is provided with relatively large bores to permit vigorous bubble streams to emerge. The bores of the different sides are fed via different supply lines and control valves.

  • Patent number: 4048266
Abstract: The mat is arranged to be connected to an air distribution device and a blower, and comprises a substantially rectangular, flat, and relatively elongated hollow body of a suitable material, such as plastic or rubber, with upper and lower walls forming, respectively, upper and lower support surfaces for a patient's body, and interconnected by side and end walls. The body has an upper portion, including the upper wall, formed with a plurality of air chambers and with air passages, and a lower portion, including the lower wall, having ribs or elevations extending therefrom. The upper wall is pressure-formed to define a plurality of channels or grooves extending longitudinally and centrally of the body and a plurality of channels or grooves extending laterally outwardly from the central grooves or channels. The bases of these grooves are formed with perforations opening through the upper wall.

  • Patent number: 4017771
Abstract: The device safeguards switches and other electrical components controlling an electric motor, such as the motor of a blowing device for air bubbling mats in bathtubs. A casing of dielectric material is arranged to enclose an electric motor, and has a recess in its exterior wall in which are mounted motor controlling components including a master motor switch having an outwardly projecting, normally externally accessible switch operator. A cover plate of dielectric material is mounted on the exterior wall and cooperable with guiding rails or the like for sliding movement along the exterior wall. The cover plate has a first position, in which it completely cover the recess, and releases the master motor switch to close, and has a second position in which certain of the components are exposed for external access but in which the cover plate engages the switch operator of the master motor switch to maintain the master motor switch opened.
