  • Patent number: 6866808
Abstract: A method is provided for producing a plurality of moldings in one mold wherein the mold has at least one introduction point for molding material and a plurality of cavities with a shape corresponding to that of the moldings. The cavities are arranged so that each cavity, except cavities in an end or peripheral position, is connected to at least two directly adjacent cavities. A fluid casting compound of a material having a solidified hardness of not more than about 200 N, defined as the force at which an 11 mm sphere of the material will shatter, is introduced into the mold, so that it essentially fills all of the cavities, and the casting compound is then solidified and removed from the mold.

  • Patent number: 6800598
Abstract: Composition for use in a water tank in the kitchen or sanitary sectors characterized by a basic composition essentially evolving its function following addition to a first water filling of the water tank, in the form of a tablet and at least one particle, with at least one core, which comprises at least one substance evolving its function essentially following an at least partial emptying of the first water filling from the water tank Ad and the inflow of fresh water and a covering substantially completely surrounding the core or cores comprising at least one compound, whose solubility increases with decreasing concentration of a specific ion in the surrounding medium, the at least one particle being so arranged in or on the tablet that the surface of the particle or particles is at most only partly in direct contact with the surface of the basic composition surrounding the same and the concentration of the specific ion in the local environment of the particle or particles is sufficiently high up to a substan

  • Patent number: 6730646
Abstract: The invention relates to a composition for use in a dishwasher which is provided in the form of a tablet. The inventive composition is characterized by a base composition which essentially carries out its function during the main cleaning cycle of the dishwasher, and is also characterized by at least one particle. Said particle has at least one core that comprises at least one substance which essentially carries out its function during the rinse cycle of the dishwasher. The particle also has a coating which, for the most part, completely surrounds the core(s). Said coating comprises at least one compound whose solubility increases with a declining concentration of a specific ion in the surrounding medium. The at least one particle is arranged in or on the tablet in such a way that the surface of the particle(s) is, at most, partially in direct contact with the surface of the base composition surrounding this/these particles.

  • Patent number: 4288340
Abstract: A non-caking and freely flowing granulated composition of high abrasion-resistance which comprises a polymer phosphate and an ion-exchanging alkali metal aluminum silicate is disclosed. At least part of the polymer phosphate in said composition is a highly condensed phosphate, preferably of a phosphorous pentoxide-content between about 64% and about 69%. Said polymer phosphate may contain sodium tripolyphosphate in an amount between about 95% and 0% by weight and preferably between 80% and 60% by weight. Such a composition may also contain a water-soluble tenside which is liquid at room temperature. The process of producing such a granulated composition comprising a highly condensed phosphate and an alkali metal aluminum silicate, comprises granulation of the mixture of polymer phosphate and alkali metal aluminum silicate by spraying water or a tenside solution thereon.
