  • Patent number: 7458709
Abstract: In a method of assembling a surface illumination system having an electromagnetic radiation emitting front side, at least one primary radiation source suitable for emitting electromagnetic radiation when operating is disposed on at least one mounting area of a flexible carrier. The flexible carrier has a front side and a back side opposite said front side, the front side of the flexible carrier defines a reference plane. The mounting area of the flexible carrier on which the primary radiation source is disposed is then bent out of the reference plane such that an optical axis of the primary radiation source extends parallel or obliquely to the reference plane.

    Assignee: Osram Opto Semiconductors GmbH
Inventors: Kurt-Jürgen Lang, Hubert Ott, Ludwig Plotz, Christian Poh, Mario Wanninger
  • Publication number: 20080111471
Abstract: Disclosed is an illumination device comprising a radiation-emitting front side and a multiplicity of light sources (R, G, B), wherein said multiplicity of light sources (R, G, B) is divided into light source groups (LG) and the light source groups (LG) are arranged on the grid points of a first regular grid.

  • Publication number: 20060066265
Abstract: A description is given of an illumination device which emits mixed-color light containing light of at least two different color channels (R, R1, G, G1, B, B1). The illumination device contains at least one primary light source (1) of a first color, the light of which forms a first color channel (R, R1, G, G1, B, B1), and at least one primary light source (1) of a second color, the light of which forms a second color channel (R, R1, G, G1, B, B1), at least one sensor device (3), which is positioned such that it can receive mixed-color light and is suitable for detecting brightness of light of a wavelength range comprising the color channels (R, R1, G, G1, B, B1) and which determines the brightnesses of the different color channels (R, R1, G, G1, B, B1) separately and repeatedly during operation.

  • Publication number: 20040195979
Abstract: A codable electronic circuit arrangement, in particular an LED circuit arrangement (1), having a lead (3), via which electronic circuit elements (6) of the circuit arrangement, in particular LED components, can be driven by a drive circuit (2; 20; 21; 22). The lead (3) has a plurality of coding conductors (3c, 3d), which carry a code by means of a combination of electrically interrupted and electrically continuous coding conductors (3c, 3d), said code giving an indication of specific properties of the circuit arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20040056370
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a light guide or optical light outcoupling element with a light outcoupling surface which has light outcoupling structures by means of an injection-molding process. The light outcoupling structures are produced by means of laser ablation of the injection mold or of the already injection-molded light guide or light outcoupling element.
